HOW IT'S MADE

How fibreglass pools are made

A fibreglass pool is manufactured as a single, one-piece shell. We spray a smooth, coloured gelcoat into a polished mould, then hand-laminate layers of fibreglass and resin over it to build a strong, watertight shell. Once cured and quality-checked, the finished pool is delivered and installed into the ground — usually within 5 to 7 days.

THE PROCESS

How we make your pool

1
Mould preparation

We start with a polished mould of your chosen shape, prepped to a mirror finish.

2
Gelcoat

A coloured gelcoat is sprayed in — this becomes the smooth, durable surface you swim against.

3
Lay-up & lamination

Layers of fibreglass matting and resin are hand-laminated to build structural strength.

4
Quality check

Thickness, cure and finish are inspected before the shell leaves the factory.

5
Delivery

The one-piece shell is transported and craned into your prepared excavation.

6
Installation

Backfill, plumbing, coping and commissioning — and you're swimming, usually within the week.
